Shipping Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. Scope of our shipments

DATEN Global LLC manages product acquisition and international shipping operations to different countries, initially focusing on Latin America.

Shipping availability will depend on factors such as:

  • destination country;
  • city;
  • postal code;
  • product;
  • availability;
  • weight;
  • dimensions;
  • transportation method;
  • export restrictions;
  • import restrictions;
  • customs requirements;
  • logistics availability;
  • applicable law.

Not all products can be shipped to all countries.

Before confirming a transaction, DATEN will evaluate the feasibility of the corresponding shipment.

---

2. How does the shipping process work?

An operation normally goes through the following stages:

### Stage 1 — Quote

The customer requests a product and DATEN prepares a quote.

### Stage 2 — Confirmation

The customer accepts the quote terms and makes the corresponding payment.

### Stage 3 — Acquisition

DATEN Global LLC directly manages the acquisition of the product in the United States.

### Stage 4 — Preparation

The product is received, reviewed and prepared for dispatch when applicable.

### Stage 5 — International dispatch

The product is delivered to the selected logistics operator to begin international transportation.

### Stage 6 — International transportation

The product is transported from the United States to the destination country.

### Stage 7 — Import and customs

The shipment goes through the applicable import and customs clearance procedures.

### Stage 8 — Final delivery

Once the necessary procedures have been completed, the logistics operator delivers the shipment to the customer or designated recipient.

---

3. Logistics operators

DATEN Global LLC may work with international logistics operators with broad coverage and operational capacity.

Currently, DATEN primarily uses DHL for its international operations.

However, DATEN may use other logistics operators when appropriate based on:

  • destination country;
  • product;
  • availability;
  • cost;
  • transportation method;
  • restrictions;
  • route;
  • operating conditions;
  • estimated transit times.

The selected operator may vary from one transaction to another.

When applicable, operator information will be provided to the customer.

---

4. Air and sea transportation

DATEN may coordinate different transportation methods depending on the characteristics of each transaction.

### Air transportation

This is the method primarily used for operations that require shorter transit times and can be transported by air.

### Sea transportation

This may be used when the characteristics of the product, volume, weight, destination or economic conditions make this method appropriate.

The applicable transportation method will depend on:

  • product;
  • weight;
  • volume;
  • dimensions;
  • country;
  • availability;
  • restrictions;
  • costs;
  • transaction requirements.

The applicable transportation method will be communicated in the quote when it can be determined in advance.

---

5. Delivery time

Total delivery time depends on different stages:

1. transaction confirmation; 2. payment verification; 3. product availability; 4. acquisition; 5. preparation; 6. dispatch; 7. international transportation; 8. import procedures; 9. customs clearance; 10. final delivery.

For this reason, DATEN does not establish a single standard delivery time for all products and countries.

The specific estimated time will be communicated by the advisor responsible for the transaction.

---

6. Delivery times are estimates

Delivery times provided by DATEN are estimates and do not constitute a delivery guarantee unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Delivery times may be affected by:

  • product availability;
  • supplier;
  • preparation;
  • transportation;
  • logistics connections;
  • documentation;
  • inspections;
  • customs procedures;
  • holidays;
  • weather conditions;
  • logistics congestion;
  • government restrictions;
  • extraordinary events.

When applicable law establishes specific obligations regarding shipping deadlines or delays, DATEN will comply with those obligations.

---

7. When does the delivery time begin?

The estimated time does not necessarily begin when the customer requests a quote.

Before dispatch, the following stages may be necessary:

  • confirmation;
  • payment verification;
  • availability validation;
  • acquisition;
  • preparation;
  • documentation.

The beginning of the applicable estimated period will be determined according to the conditions communicated in the quote.

---

8. Product availability

The fact that a product appears on DATEN Global does not necessarily mean that it is immediately available.

Availability must be confirmed before the acquisition is made.

A product may:

  • sell out;
  • change in price;
  • change in availability;
  • be temporarily unavailable;
  • be subject to restrictions.

If the supplier reports a relevant change, DATEN will inform the customer when applicable.

---

9. Made-to-order products

Some products may be acquired specifically for a customer.

In these cases, the process may require additional time due to:

  • availability;
  • supplier processing;
  • preparation;
  • restocking;
  • receipt;
  • domestic transportation;
  • logistics coordination.

The estimated time will be communicated to the customer when it can be determined.

---

10. Order tracking

DATEN may provide tracking information through:

  • user account;
  • platform;
  • email;
  • WhatsApp;
  • assigned advisor;
  • information provided by the logistics operator.

The amount of information available will depend on the stage of the transaction and the systems used.

---

11. Shipping statuses

An order may go through different statuses, including:

### Quote

The request is being evaluated.

### Payment pending

The transaction is pending payment.

### Payment verified

DATEN has confirmed receipt of the payment.

### Purchase in progress

DATEN is managing the acquisition.

### Product acquired

The product has been acquired.

### Preparation

The product is being prepared for dispatch.

### Dispatched

The product has been handed over to the logistics operator.

### In transit

The product is in transit.

### In customs

The shipment is undergoing import or customs clearance procedures.

### Out for delivery

The shipment is in the final delivery process.

### Delivered

The operator reports that delivery has been completed.

The exact names of the statuses may vary depending on the system used.

---

12. Tracking information provided by third parties

Some tracking information may come from systems operated by third parties.

Therefore, there may be an interval between:

physical movement → system update → receipt of information → DATEN update.

DATEN seeks to keep available information up to date, but does not control the internal systems of operators, authorities or other third parties.

---

13. Delivery address

The customer must provide an address that is:

  • correct;
  • complete;
  • current;
  • accessible;
  • compatible with the operator's conditions.

When necessary, the customer must also provide:

  • recipient name;
  • telephone number;
  • email address;
  • postal code;
  • references;
  • documentation.

---

14. Address errors

An incorrect or incomplete address may result in:

  • delays;
  • rescheduling;
  • additional costs;
  • new delivery attempts;
  • return;
  • inability to deliver.

Costs directly resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer may be the customer's responsibility when applicable and when permitted by applicable law.

---

15. Address changes

Address changes should be requested as soon as possible.

Once the order has been dispatched, any change will depend on:

  • operator;
  • shipping status;
  • location;
  • restrictions;
  • costs;
  • technical feasibility.

DATEN cannot guarantee that an address change can be made after dispatch.

---

16. Delivery to the recipient

Delivery will be carried out according to the operator's procedures and the conditions of the destination country.

Depending on the transaction, the following may be required:

  • identification;
  • signature;
  • electronic confirmation;
  • code;
  • documentation;
  • payment of charges;
  • recipient presence.

Requirements may vary by country and operator.

---

17. Delivery attempts

If the recipient is unavailable, the operator may:

  • make another attempt;
  • contact the recipient;
  • reschedule;
  • move the package to a pickup point;
  • return the shipment.

Conditions will depend on the operator and country.

---

18. Packages not received

If a customer does not receive their package, they must contact DATEN as soon as possible.

Our team may request:

  • order number;
  • tracking number;
  • address;
  • recipient information;
  • evidence;
  • any other necessary information.

DATEN may carry out the corresponding actions with the operator.

---

19. Packages returned to sender

A shipment may be returned due to:

  • incorrect address;
  • incomplete address;
  • recipient not located;
  • refusal;
  • missing documentation;
  • failure to pay charges;
  • import restrictions;
  • inability to deliver;
  • expiration of the storage period.

DATEN will review the case and communicate the available alternatives.

Additional costs arising from a return caused by incorrect information or non-compliance attributable to the customer may be passed on to the customer when applicable.

---

20. Customs

International shipments may be subject to customs procedures.

These may include:

  • document review;
  • physical inspection;
  • classification;
  • valuation;
  • tax assessment;
  • payment of duties;
  • permits;
  • licenses;
  • additional documentation.

Final decisions regarding importation belong to the competent authorities.

DATEN cannot guarantee that a shipment will be released within a specific period.

---

21. Who manages the customs process?

Customs procedures may involve:

  • logistics operators;
  • specialized agents;
  • customs authorities;
  • other authorized participants.

DATEN Global LLC will coordinate the operation within the scope of its service and provide the customer with the guidance and information available to facilitate the process.

The final decision regarding importation, classification, valuation, inspection, release or detention of merchandise belongs to the competent authorities.

---

22. Taxes and import duties

Taxes, duties, fees and other charges related to importation may vary according to:

  • country;
  • product;
  • tariff classification;
  • value;
  • import regime;
  • transportation method;
  • current legislation;
  • decision of the competent authority.

When it is reasonably possible to determine these items before the transaction, DATEN may include or estimate them in the quote.

An estimate does not necessarily represent the final assessment made by the authorities.

---

23. Responsibility for importation

The person or entity listed as importer or consignee for customs purposes will depend on:

  • destination country;
  • logistics method;
  • documentation;
  • nature of the transaction;
  • applicable law.

DATEN will provide guidance within the scope of its service and coordinate the applicable documentation.

The customer must provide truthful information and cooperate with the procedures necessary to legally complete the importation.

---

24. International operations

All transactions managed through DATEN Global are carried out directly with DATEN Global LLC.

DATEN Global LLC is the entity that:

  • receives the request;
  • prepares the quote;
  • receives payment;
  • manages the acquisition;
  • coordinates the shipment;
  • provides tracking;
  • maintains the commercial relationship with the customer.

The existence of logistics operators, customs agents, suppliers or other third parties necessary to execute a transaction does not mean that such third parties are commercial intermediaries between DATEN Global LLC and the customer.

---

25. Import documentation

Depending on the country and product, the following may be required:

  • identification;
  • proof of purchase;
  • invoice;
  • shipping documentation;
  • permits;
  • declarations;
  • technical information;
  • documents required by authorities.

DATEN may request additional information when necessary to properly process the transaction.

---

26. Incorrect information for customs

The customer must not provide false, incomplete or misleading information for the purpose of:

  • reducing taxes;
  • evading controls;
  • artificially changing the value;
  • concealing the nature of the product;
  • avoiding restrictions.

DATEN will not participate in transactions intended to evade customs, tax or regulatory obligations.

---

27. Customs inspections

Authorities may inspect a shipment.

An inspection may result in:

  • delays;
  • opening of the package;
  • request for documentation;
  • request for additional information;
  • tax assessment;
  • temporary detention.

DATEN does not control the decision to conduct an inspection or its duration.

---

28. Restricted products

Not all products can be transported or imported.

Restrictions may apply to:

  • batteries;
  • liquids;
  • aerosols;
  • chemical products;
  • certain equipment;
  • products requiring permits;
  • regulated goods;
  • prohibited products;
  • export restrictions;
  • import restrictions.

DATEN will evaluate the feasibility of the transaction before confirming it when possible.

---

29. Transportation restrictions

The logistics operator may establish additional restrictions on certain products.

These may depend on:

  • weight;
  • dimensions;
  • composition;
  • batteries;
  • value;
  • destination;
  • transportation method;
  • applicable law.

If a transaction cannot be transported using the initially planned method, DATEN may evaluate alternatives.

---

30. International transportation and extraordinary events

International transportation may be affected by circumstances beyond DATEN's reasonable control.

These may include:

  • natural disasters;
  • weather conditions;
  • conflicts;
  • strikes;
  • airport closures;
  • port disruptions;
  • government restrictions;
  • infrastructure problems;
  • logistics congestion;
  • emergencies;
  • regulatory changes.

In these cases, delivery times may be extended.

---

31. Logistics operator delays

Once the product has been handed over to the operator, part of the process depends on that third party's systems and operations.

If a delay occurs, DATEN may:

  • check the status;
  • contact the operator;
  • request an investigation;
  • inform the customer;
  • coordinate the available actions.

DATEN cannot guarantee the outcome of an investigation conducted with a third party.

---

32. Lost shipment

If a shipment appears to be lost during transportation, DATEN may initiate or coordinate an investigation with the corresponding operator.

The outcome will depend on:

  • tracking information;
  • documentation;
  • operator conditions;
  • applicable coverage;
  • investigation;
  • circumstances of the case.

DATEN will communicate the available information and corresponding alternatives to the customer.

---

33. Damage during transportation

When a product arrives damaged, we recommend:

1. preserve the packaging; 2. take photographs; 3. take videos when possible; 4. retain the documentation; 5. report the incident immediately; 6. provide the requested evidence.

This will allow the corresponding claim to be managed.

---

34. Transportation claims

Transportation-related claims may be subject to:

  • deadlines;
  • documentation requirements;
  • evidence;
  • operator conditions;
  • liability limits;
  • contracted coverage.

The customer must provide the requested information within the indicated deadlines.

---

35. Transportation insurance

The existence of transportation coverage will depend on the transaction and the conditions contracted with the operator.

When a transaction includes specific coverage, its conditions will be those established by the corresponding provider.

The existence of insurance does not mean that every loss or damage is automatically covered.

---

36. Additional transportation costs

A transaction may generate additional costs due to:

  • address change;
  • redelivery;
  • storage;
  • return;
  • additional documentation;
  • special services;
  • restrictions;
  • failure to meet recipient requirements.

When such costs are attributable to the customer and applicable law permits it, they may be communicated and charged separately.

---

37. Storage

When a package cannot be delivered and the operator generates storage charges, these may be the customer's responsibility when they result from:

  • incorrect address;
  • lack of availability;
  • missing documentation;
  • failure to pay charges;
  • delivery refusal;
  • circumstances attributable to the customer.

Specific charges will depend on the operator.

---

38. Changes to the transportation method

DATEN may change the transportation method or operator when necessary to execute the transaction, especially when:

  • the product cannot be transported using the initial method;
  • a restriction exists;
  • conditions change;
  • the operator is no longer available;
  • a reasonable alternative exists.

When the change involves a material variation in cost or conditions, DATEN will communicate the situation and available alternatives.

---

39. Partial shipments

Depending on availability and the characteristics of the order, DATEN may evaluate the possibility of making partial shipments.

A partial shipment may result in:

  • different delivery dates;
  • different tracking numbers;
  • additional logistics costs.

Partial shipments that result in material changes to the economic conditions will require customer confirmation when applicable.

---

40. Orders with multiple products

When an order includes several products, they may:

  • become available at different times;
  • require different conditions;
  • be subject to different restrictions;
  • be shipped together or separately.

The final structure will depend on the transaction.

---

41. Large or heavy products

Products that exceed certain weight or dimension limits may be subject to:

  • special rates;
  • specific operators;
  • specialized transportation;
  • restrictions;
  • additional time.

These conditions will be communicated during the quote when they can be determined.

---

42. Deliveries to businesses

For deliveries to businesses, the customer must provide sufficient information to properly complete the delivery, including when applicable:

  • legal business name;
  • address;
  • contact person;
  • telephone number;
  • email;
  • additional information.

The recipient must ensure that an authorized person is available to receive the shipment.

---

43. Deliveries to individuals

The customer must provide sufficient information so that the operator can identify and contact the recipient.

Specific requirements will depend on the operator and country.

---

44. Direct international deliveries

DATEN Global LLC may coordinate international shipping directly to the customer or recipient indicated in the transaction.

Depending on the law and method of the transaction, the customer may be listed as recipient, importer or responsible party for certain procedures.

The customer must comply with the applicable legal, tax and customs obligations.

---

45. Unattended address or difficult-to-access area

Some addresses may be outside normal delivery areas.

In these cases, the operator may:

  • establish a pickup point;
  • apply an additional charge;
  • request an alternative address;
  • modify the delivery method.

DATEN will communicate the available alternatives to the customer when it becomes aware of the situation.

---

46. Products delivered to third parties

If the customer authorizes a third party to receive the product, it will be the customer's responsibility to provide the corresponding information correctly.

A delivery recorded by the operator according to its procedures may be considered completed when applicable, without prejudice to applicable legal rights.

---

47. Delivery confirmation

The logistics operator may record delivery through:

  • signature;
  • photograph;
  • code;
  • electronic confirmation;
  • recipient's name;
  • other available mechanisms.

The information may be used to manage incidents or claims.

---

48. Uncollected products

When a shipment is sent to a pickup point and the recipient does not collect it within the established period, the package may be returned.

Costs arising from such return may be the customer's responsibility when applicable and when permitted by applicable law.

---

49. Information provided to the customer

DATEN will seek to keep the customer informed about the relevant stages of their transaction.

Communications may be made through:

  • platform;
  • email;
  • WhatsApp;
  • advisor;
  • other official channels.

The amount of information available may depend on third parties.

---

50. DATEN responsibilities

DATEN Global LLC undertakes to:

  • manage the acquisition according to the confirmed transaction;
  • coordinate the shipment;
  • provide reasonable information about the status;
  • facilitate available tracking;
  • provide guidance;
  • coordinate with operators when an incident occurs;
  • communicate relevant changes when it becomes aware of them.

---

51. Customer responsibilities

The customer must:

  • provide correct information;
  • review the quote;
  • confirm the product characteristics;
  • make full payment;
  • provide a correct address;
  • provide documentation when necessary;
  • cooperate with import procedures;
  • pay legally applicable charges;
  • be available to receive the shipment;
  • report incidents promptly.

---

52. Third-party responsibility

Logistics operators, customs agents, suppliers and other third parties technically involved in the transaction may be subject to their own:

  • terms;
  • conditions;
  • policies;
  • liability limits;
  • claim procedures.

DATEN coordinates these services within the scope of its role, but does not control all actions or decisions of such third parties.

---

53. Events beyond DATEN's control

DATEN will not be responsible for delays exclusively arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • government decisions;
  • customs inspections;
  • regulatory changes;
  • import restrictions;
  • export restrictions;
  • natural disasters;
  • conflicts;
  • strikes;
  • transportation interruptions;
  • widespread infrastructure failures;
  • extraordinary events.

This provision does not limit rights or responsibilities that legally cannot be excluded.

---

54. Compliance with the law

All shipping and import operations must be carried out in accordance with applicable laws.

DATEN does not participate in transactions intended to:

  • evade taxes;
  • falsify documentation;
  • declare false values;
  • conceal products;
  • avoid controls;
  • import prohibited products;
  • violate international trade restrictions.

DATEN may cancel or reject a transaction when its execution involves a significant legal or regulatory risk.

---

55. Products subject to special regulation

Certain products may be subject to additional controls.

For example:

  • products with batteries;
  • electronic devices;
  • cosmetic products;
  • chemical products;
  • medical products;
  • products requiring permits;
  • regulated goods;
  • products with transportation restrictions.

Acceptance of a quote does not guarantee that the product can be imported without additional requirements.

---

56. Prohibition of instructions to evade controls

The customer may not ask DATEN to:

  • declare a false value;
  • artificially modify an invoice;
  • conceal the nature of the product;
  • artificially split a transaction to evade controls;
  • use false documentation;
  • declare incorrect information.

DATEN will reject requests involving these types of practices.

---

57. Cancellation due to logistical impossibility

DATEN may suspend or cancel a transaction when, after confirmation, a legal, logistical or regulatory impossibility arises that prevents the shipment from being carried out.

In these cases, DATEN will inform the customer and determine the available alternatives according to:

  • transaction status;
  • costs already incurred;
  • possibility of return;
  • supplier conditions;
  • operator conditions;
  • applicable law.

When a refund is legally applicable, it will be carried out according to our Returns and Refunds Policy.

---

58. Relationship with the Returns and Refunds Policy

Issues related to:

  • cancellations;
  • returns;
  • defective products;
  • incorrect products;
  • refunds;

are additionally governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy.

This Shipping Policy does not limit the rights the customer has under mandatory applicable law.

---

59. Relationship with the Terms and Conditions

This Policy forms part of the set of documents governing the operations of DATEN Global LLC.

It should be interpreted together with:

  • Terms and Conditions;
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Cookie Policy;
  • Returns and Refunds Policy;
  • Intellectual Property;
  • specific quote conditions.

In case of contradiction, the specific provision of the transaction will apply as long as it is compatible with applicable law.

---

60. Changes to this Policy

DATEN may update this Policy to reflect:

  • changes in logistics operators;
  • new transportation methods;
  • regulatory changes;
  • new countries served;
  • operational changes;
  • new procedures.

The update date will be indicated at the beginning of the document.

Modifications will not retroactively affect rights that legally apply to transactions already confirmed.
